who's out there?

As an avid blog reader (well, avid reader of all words), I have recently been greatly disturbed by the number of people who one: have blogs, two: post billions of photos and write stories of their children, and three: allow anyone to read about it. If I am reading these blogs, who else is reading them? It's not too hard to figure out Johnny's mommy's address in Portland. Does anyone else find this slightly worrying?...

no. =)

i'm one of those blog moms who writes all about my incredible child, my experiences, outings, home life, faith, homeschool adventures, concerns, questions, etc... and I read A LOT of other bloggin' mama's incredible inspirations as well.
It's a great way to document my son's life for him, share with family and friends who live all over the country, and get some me time involving my hobbies of writing and photography. I love it.

i also have a big pit bull and a whole crap load of common sense. =)

in all honesty, if someone wanted to prey on us or our families, they wouldn't need to use a blog to do it. it's pretty easy.

It's just as scary and wrong to give someone your credit card number in a store, or over the phone, or online...it'll be okay.

we live in a scary world, but we don't have to live in fear.
